It Takes A Team

John Morgan, President of CSA Morgan & Eklund, has been around long enough to know that you are only as successful as the team with which you surround yourself with. “We’ve stayed in business for over thirty years because we have a rock-solid team that has built a strong track record,” John said. “We are now initiating a growth strategy that requires new additions to our team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right person that is looking to help grow a company to the next level.”

The CSA M&E staff includes Registered Land Surveyors, as well as experienced survey and hydrographic survey crews. The CSA M&E team is highly trained, with many having over thirty years of experience in their respective disciplines. “We’re all professionals and we work together well. One day you could be working in Port Miami, and the next day traveling to a foreign location to support a hydrographic survey. We certainly don’t have boring office jobs here,” said David Coggin, PLS.

CSA M&E clients include consulting, construction and engineering firms, EPIC contractors as well as federal, state, and local government entities involved in maritime projects. “We’ve worked on a wide variety of projects for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, and on large-scale topographic surveys for the Everglades Restoration Project, as well as international projects with our CSA partners,” John said. “We are growing our capabilities as well as our geographic reach and now need to strengthen our leadership team to take us forward.”

CSA M&E’s growth has been fueled by being part of the Continental Shelf Associates group of companies. Since becoming a part of the CSA family two years ago, CSA M&E has been able to leverage CSA’s capabilities, equipment, and technology to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary range of geophysical, oceanographic and metocean survey services. The expanded scope of services includes ADCP and CTD surveys, as well as the ability to provide additional hydrographic survey teams in remote and deep-water locations.

Even though the formal relationship between CSA and M&E is relatively new, M&E and CSA have worked together on projects for over 25 years. The integration of personnel and equipment resources has considerably expanded both companies’ capabilities.

John is looking forward to expanding CSA M&E as demand continues to increase. “Our talented professionals and hard work have gotten us to where we are. We continue to grow and expand our capabilities with new technologies and geographic reach, and we are now looking for key individuals that want to lead the effort to expand our offshore and deep-water geophysical activities.”

CSA M&E is a multidisciplinary survey firm specializing in the acquisition and processing of bathymetric, topographic, and geophysical data. To learn more about what we look for in our team, check out our latest job posting here.
